BRIAN COTTERILL & NICOLA SHARKEY
"An extremely talented husband and wife team"
Brian is married to Irish operatic soprano Nicola Sharkey. Together they perform regular and highly popular recitals. Both Brian and Nicola have made separate TV and radio appearances.
Nicola grew up in Dublin where she studied at The College of Music and won the prestigious Golden Voice of Ireland competition. She has performed leading roles with most of the European opera companies and also spent a year as Stratospheric Soprano with The Swingle Singers.
Their first CD together, "Music for a While", was released to much acclaim in 2004 and features operatic arias, Irish songs and solo pieces on both organ and piano.
"Music When Soft Voices Die" was Brian's and Nicola's second CD which was released in 2006. This recording features songs of love and reflection - particularly from Britain and Ireland - as well as piano solos.
CDs are available for purchase, priced £10 (+ P&P if applicable) by contacting Brian.
Brian Cotterill and Nicola Sharkey are available for concerts, recitals, weddings, funerals, other church services, wedding receptions and other events.
